OUR STORY
In 2009 we purchased a Texas Landmark home and began to prepare for opening our B & B.  Eventually we added our Tearoom which allowed us to meet and greet more wonderful guests.  Over the years our business earned many awards and was featured multiple times in Texas Highways and most recently Texas Monthly.

After a series of health events we made the decision to close the B&B and sell the historic home.  With encouragement from our many wonderful tearoom guests, we relocated Tearoom @ the Manor to the Kilgore Mainstreet downtown in the historic 1932 historic JORDAN'S clothing store.  Tearoom @ the Manor has now become THE GRAND EMPRESS TEA ROOM.  Though we have a new name we offer the same ambience, service, quality, and unique experiences as we did with Tea Room @ the Manor.  We look forward to seeing you soon at The Grand Empress Tearoom.
